Dart combines project-management tools with an agent-oriented workspace. Teams can organize tasks and documents while creating agents or connecting tools they already use. The current product describes assigning clear roles and context to agents, then keeping their work attached to a shared plan. This makes Dart relevant to teams that want to follow an automated task through its handoffs and results instead of treating each agent conversation as an isolated activity.
The interface distinguishes planning in Chat mode from execution linked to a task in Build mode. AI features include task-property filling, subtask generation and reporting, alongside broader orchestration of lead and specialist agents. Traditional project functions such as views, dependencies, comments and documents remain part of the workspace. Connected coding agents can work on implementation tasks, while other agents may support research or operational work. The actual authority and capabilities of a connected agent depend on its configuration and the tools it can access.
Dart offers a free Personal plan for small teams and paid tiers with broader collaboration and administration features. Its official pricing page lists desktop and mobile applications as well as API, SDK, CLI and MCP access. Before adopting an automated workflow, confirm which features are included in the selected plan and configure permissions carefully. A useful first project has a defined goal, a small number of tasks and an explicit review step. Keep generated documents and code connected to the task that requested them, and verify important outputs before marking the work complete. A shared workspace improves coordination but does not independently establish that an agent's result is correct.
