Create content and source-grounded characters, then connect their workflows across supported channels in Charigent, formerly Brain Pod AI.
Charigent is the successor to Brain Pod AI, a transition explicitly described on the original brainpod.ai website. It combines content creation with configurable AI characters and agents. Existing writing, image, chat, book and automation workflows remain part of the offering, while the newer character layer preserves an approved voice and context across conversations.
The workspace includes chat, an image studio and a content engine. Writers can move from a brief to a draft, while knowledge sources provide context for a character or support agent. Brain Pod AI’s earlier writing and publishing positioning is therefore part of the product history, but the current name and plan structure are Charigent.
Characters can start from a story idea, brand brief or business role. The user defines their purpose, voice and handoff rules rather than treating every conversation as an unrelated prompt. Source material should be reviewed for accuracy and permission before it becomes the basis of a customer-facing answer.
Core deployment channels include email, Slack, Discord, Telegram and Google Chat. Higher plans expand messaging, voice and publishing options. Visual flows and approval controls help connect tasks into a process, while API access is listed for Business and Enterprise arrangements. Features and limits vary by tier, so channel availability should not be inferred from a general homepage list.
The current pricing page requires an invitation before onboarding. Requesting access does not start a trial or charge a card; trial and billing terms are presented after approval. Activated trials can convert to paid access unless cancelled. Paid subscriptions include a usage allowance, and additional model activity can require more credits. Higher model tiers and longer outputs affect consumption.
A useful pilot creates one character with a small approved knowledge set and tests difficult questions, unsupported claims and handoffs. For writing or images, inspect factual accuracy and rights before publishing. Charigent provides creation and automation tools, but neither a character’s confident tone nor an SEO workflow guarantees correctness, search ranking or suitability for unattended customer communication.
