BitBoard connects natural-language questions with business data and reusable dashboards. Its Ask experience combines the team’s definitions and trusted queries with current information, while preserving the sources and assumptions behind an answer. The aim is to let colleagues explore data without losing the context that makes a metric meaningful.
A useful query or corrected definition can become part of the team’s shared knowledge. BitBoard stores business context and canonical queries using Git behind the scenes, while end users work through the product interface. Data owners can use a pull-request workflow for sensitive changes. This creates a way to maintain guidance as part of regular analytics work instead of relying on a one-time documentation exercise.
Ask works across sources such as PostgreSQL, Snowflake and connected business tools including Stripe, Linear, Notion and PostHog. A response keeps its query, source and assumptions available for inspection. The reader can therefore check how an answer was derived rather than accept a chart without understanding its calculation.
Dashboards provide a persistent environment for recurring analysis. The documented agent workflow can import a CSV, create a SQL block, add a chart and attach a filter. Blocks preserve configuration and execution information, and downstream charts update from the relevant query output. Sharing settings can make a dashboard viewable by link without granting editing access.
The Individual plan is free with daily Ask limits and hosting. Teams adds a shared workspace, higher usage allowances and central billing at a per-seat price; Enterprise provides custom controls and support. A good starting point is a small question with a known answer, followed by inspection of the query and definitions. Before sharing a link, confirm that the dashboard does not expose data beyond its intended audience. BitBoard supports repeatable analysis, but the correctness of source records and business definitions still determines whether the result is useful.
